The latest update, Ver.1.2.0, which became available on December 3, 2025, is accessible across all major platforms, including PlayStation 5/4, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Xbox XS/One, Steam, and Epic. Players must install this patch to access online modes like World Match and any downloadable content. A key highlight is the introduction of the "Legend Competition," a new event mode scheduled to run from December 4 to December 21, 2025. Friend Match settings have also been enhanced to include multi-round options, eliminating the need to return to the lobby after each race.

The update also features various other adjustments, such as altered appearances for Silver and Blaze's AI skins and "Team Dimension" rivals to prevent confusion with invincibility states.
